Adventure
Tidewalkers
★★★★★ 4.7
Tidewalkers is quiet, moody, and gorgeous. You explore flooded ruins, solve light environmental puzzles, and piece together what happened to a vanished coastal people. There's no combat to speak of, and it's better for it.
Movement is a simple tap-to-walk system that mostly gets out of your way. The real star is the art direction and the ambient sound, which made me forget I was holding a phone on a crowded train.
It's a short experience, maybe four hours, but every bit of it feels deliberate. If you want something calm to wind down with, this is an easy recommendation.
