Skyline Rush

Skyline Rush nails the thing most mobile racers get wrong: the sense of speed. Drift around a corner at night with the neon streaking past and it genuinely feels fast, not like a slideshow pretending to be one.

You can steer with tilt or with on-screen buttons, and both options feel responsive. I preferred the buttons for tight circuits, but tilt is more fun on the open highway stages. Car handling has just enough weight to make the drifting feel earned.

There's a decent career mode and a handful of time-trial challenges that'll keep you coming back. The car customisation is a bit shallow, but the driving itself carries the whole package.
