About
Pocket Lap started as a group chat between a few friends who kept sending each other screenshots of mobile games during their commutes. At some point we figured we might as well write things down properly, so here we are.,We cover racing, arcade, and the odd casual title that grabs our attention. The rule is simple: nobody writes about a game they haven't actually played for a few hours. If a game is boring after twenty minutes, we say so.,Games end up in our catalogue through a mix of recommendations, store browsing, and tips from readers. We try to pick things that feel fresh or at least do one thing really well, rather than chasing whatever is trending that day.,There's no big company behind this. It's a small editorial team working in their spare time, and we like keeping it that way because it means we can be blunt.
Lukas Vogel — Lukas has been testing mobile games since the days of flip phones and still gets annoyed when a racing game has laggy steering. He runs the editorial side of Pocket Lap and plays most titles himself.
